School Review: Princeton University

Princeton has never been a school I've dreamed of attending, but since I was passing by I figured I might as well check it out. I was astounded to find such a magnificent campus and I've got to say that I'm jealous of whoever has the privilege of going to school there.

Pros:

Princeton is by far the most beautiful campus I've seen. It's like a castle in the middle of nowhere. I took dozens of pictures because of how blown away I was by Princeton's campus.

Princeton's consistently ranked among the best schools in the country--the world even. In fact, I think it was ranked number one in America this year, and it often earns this spot.

Cons:

Princeton is sort of in the middle of nowhere. Of course, I'm sure it's relatively easy to get to New York and other cities from the area, but it still might get dull.

Princeton is very preppy. More so than most of the other Ivies. From what I've heard, it's a preppy, jock-oriented, not-so-diverse school for rich people. All of the Ivies have this reputation, but I found it to be especially true at Princeton.

Overall:

I don't have tons to say about Princeton. It has a beautiful campus, a reputation as the best school in the country (rivaled only by Harvard), and, well, a beautiful campus. If I thought I stood a chance I'd apply in a heartbeat.
